Book Summary:
Baby Kong: Mom is determined to have a productive day homeschooling the kids but in her way stands Baby Kong! Set on destroying everything in his path, including Mom's sanity, Baby Kong rampages through the house. Thankfully, Mom has a few tricks up her sleeve. Books about going to school are easy to find but books about homeschooling families are precious and rare. This one is truly a treasure. This story is based in Christian principles and has several references to God.
Michelle's review: An adorable picture book about a homeschooling family that is easy to relate to. Baby Kong wreaks havoc on his homeschooling family, but only after his dad leaves for work.He does everything a toddler can think of to destroy the house and disrupt the homeschooling atmosphere. That is, until his mom and siblings give him what he wants, their attention. A good book for a beginning reader or even better for story time, it has fun illustrations that will keep younger kids engaged in the story until the end.
A special thanks goes out to Tyler V., a seven year old homeschooler in Raleigh, NC, for this review:
