About HomeschoolLiterature.com:

Homeschoolliterature.com was created to highlight fiction books that feature homeschooled characters or home education situations. We understand that homeschoolers don’t always see themselves mirrored in mainstream children’s fiction, so we wanted to create a site that was focused on books homeschoolers could identify with. We have read and reviewed each book personally; it is our intention to introduce these books and authors to readers of all ages. It is our goal to provide an honest, family-friendly online directory where everyone can come read book reviews and comment on them.

With the help of the people at Time4Writing.com (online writing courses) and Time4Learning.com (homeschooling curriculum PreK-8th Grade), the administrators of this site are able to put together two subjects they are both passionate about.: homeschooling and literature.

We hope  you like the books and reviews we have put up here for you.  It is our hope that this site may also encourage authors and publishers to publish more books  about homeschoolers.  Please feel free to share your thoughts and suggestions on how we can make HomeschoolLiterature.com even better!  We also hope that if you enjoy the site, you will tell your friends, list it as a resource on your blogs and websites, and that you’ll come back and visit often to see what’s new.

Meet Our Site Admins:

Jamie Gaddy is one of our Homeschool Literature admins and lives in small town Georgia. She enjoys reading and contributing to our Homeschool Literature articles and reviews. She stays busy with teaching in Sunday School and women’s Bible classes, tutoring, teaching at a local college, and being the wife to the local Baptist Pastor. She married her high school sweetheart and has six children- five sweet girls and one baseball lovin’ boy. She enjoys homeschooling her five younger children while attempting to remain sane(though some days it’s doubtful).   Jamie loves literature and appreciates the wealth of great literature that Homeschoolers have written. It is her goal to find and share those great resources with other home schoolers!

Tialla (Tia) Rising is a homeschool graduate and YA novelist living with her family in the mountains of Arizona. She deeply loves to write and will passionately spend hours long into the night developing her stories. Like most writers, Tialla fills her spare time with reading from her favorite fantasy and mystery genres. A good book, a stormy day, and an iced coffee comprise her favorite moments. She also enjoys family time, serving her church, and worshipping the Lord Jesus.
Tialla began working for Vkidz in January of 2013 as a student intern. She absolutely loves her job, and feels incredibly blessed to work with such great people. She loves answering questions about homeschooling, and hopes she is truly helping people; whether through her own articles, or directing them to a Homeschool Literature source.

HomeschoolLiterature.com is owned by Vkidz Inc. which also owns Time4Learning.com, Time4Writing.com, and other educational and community sites. Other groups interested in providing long-term support to HomeschoolLiterature.com should contact us.

  10. Hi Kitty;) All the books on the site have a link to Amazon which is the best resource that I have found to buy the titles on the site. If you click on a book and it doesn’t bring you there let me know, please. There are only a couple of books that are not available right now.
